Vancouver, BC | The Oakwood Canadian Bistro is looking for an energetic, team oriented person to join our team as Sous Chef. The person must be a self-motivated professional with previous experience in a leadership role in a fast paced kitchen. A strong command of culinary skills, a creative nature, and the ability to lead by example are all required. Compensation is dependent on experience and includes health benefits and gratuities.

Responsibilities include:

– Help with menu design
– Help manage and train staff
– Food/labour costing
– Inventory
– Product ordering
– Maintain a positive, creative and safe working environment
