The 25th Annual Great Canadian Beer Festival Lands in Victoria Sept. 8-9

The summer may be waning (in theory) but if you know where to look there are still opportunities to extend the season. Case in point: on September 8th and 9th the beer will be flowing full force when 66 of the country’s craft breweries (plus two cideries) descend on British Columbia’s capital for the 25th annual Great Canadian Beer Festival.

The event kicks off Friday evening from 5pm to 10pm and runs all day Saturday for a total of 10 hours of outdoor imbibing and celebration. With over 240 brews on offer – including a special selection of casks from eight participating breweries – it’s clear that the non-profit GCBF takes its mission of ‘beer-wareness’ seriously. It also means that being strategic is key; there just aren’t enough hours to try all of the beers! Tickets are selling quickly. Grab yours here and get your itinerary together ASAP!

Fri, Sept 8 – Sat, Sept 9th | Royal Athletic Park (1014 Caledonia Ave, Victoria) | $43 per day plus $1.50 beer tokens
