Vancouver, BC | The Salt Cellar Series continues August 22 at Gastown’s Salt Tasting Room with Covert Farms Family Estate. The evening features a two flight line-up of wonderful wines, including the Family Reserve Pinot Noir that will be making its official debut to the Vancouver market. Each flight will be expertly paired with amazing cured meats, cheese and matching condiments. The two flights and two tasting plates would normally cost $62 plus tax and service but this event is priced to fill the table at $50, inclusive of tax and service. Located in Oliver, BC, Covert Farms vineyard is certified organic, and it embraces biodynamic and permaculture farming methods.

Salt is a tasting room specializing in artisanal cheese, small-batch cured meats, and a dynamic array of wines, beers and sherries. Guests assemble a Tasting Plate from our chalkboard’s selection of 10 cheeses, 10 meats, and 10 condiments. The wine list is dynamic and constantly evolving. Global in nature, one can always expect a sampling of vinous delights from our own backyard, or your favourite wine regions the world-over.
