It took Jeff – a 21-year veteran police officer – and his team over 1,000 hours and some 5 weeks to create by welding a 1976 VW camper van body on its side to the chassis of a 1988 VW Rabbit with a 1.8L GTI engine, giving the thing 120 horsepower and a top speed of about 100 mph.
