The GOODS from Au Comptoir
Vancouver, BC | Just in time for Bastille Day (Friday, July 14), Au Comptoir Chef Dan McGee has assembled a very special burger to celebrate la Fête nationale. The ‘Tournedos Rossini’ burger features a dry-aged brisket patty, with truffled raclette cheese, seared foie gras, grainy dijon aioli, caramelized shallots, finished with a Madeira glaze and served between a pain au lait toasted with truffle butter. This decadent burger is available for $28 on Au Comptoir’s lunch and dinner menu for this Friday only.
Pastry Chef Remi Ho will also be offering a special Saint Honoré dessert with raspberry for the day. The dessert includes mini choux pastries stuffed with vanilla cream, local raspberries, all covered in a raspberry and rose chiboust cream. Available for $9.
