(via) Aside from the work (which is beautiful), dig the attitude, approach, ease of introspection and truth that rolls with American painter Mario Robinson. “The real power of art, is the ability to galvanize and organize all those pigments and materials, and pour a soul into it.” The captivating short film is by Jesse Brass with music from Kyle Preston, Jason Leonard and Podington Bear. Wonderful video! Thank you for sharing a bit of yourself with us. I find you to be humble, thoughtful and talented beyond words. Your work is so awesome and brings to mind another terrific artist, Mary Whyte, “The Working South”. You both do such a splendid job of capturing the very essence of a person’s soul by tying the subject to places/things that have shaped that person into who they are. It takes a special eye as well as an open heart (and a dash of magic) to create a painting that tells a story, sings a song, exudes an aroma, brings to mind a sweet memory etc. Well done! ~Pamela
