The New Parkside Brewery’s Beers Can Now Be Found At Your Local Liquor Store

The GOODS from The Parkside Brewery

Port Moody, BC | The booming craft beer business in BC is definitely not a walk in the park, but the fellas at Port Moody’s Parkside Brewing have hit their stride quite quickly. Open less than a year; Vancouver beer veterans Vern Lambourne and Sam Payne have already established their new brewery as a legitimate player on Port Moody’s Brewer’s Row and across BC.

Parkside’s three signature beers, Dawn Pilsner, Dusk Pale Ale and Graffiti I.P.A., as well as some tasty ‘small batch releases’ have been flowing freely since they opened the brewery in June. The tasting room and picnic area have been sorting Port Moody locals out with off sales, growlers, pints and “parkbench flights” since the beginning, but things seem to be moving quickly.

There’s no doubt their roots are in Port Moody for the long haul, but they are now selling cans of Dawn, Dusk and Graffiti in liquor stores across the province. And rumour has it they will also be stocking new limited release cans this spring. That’s a big win for Parkside, but quite frankly, it’s a bigger win for us beer drinkers. No more preplanning how to take your Parkside with you. Just pick it up along the way.

If you haven’t had the chance to sample one of these beautiful brews, it’s worth a trip to the tasting room at the brewery. The Georgia Straight has ranked them the “Top new brewery in BC outside of Vancouver” and BeerMeBC has come right out and called them “The best new brewery in BC”.

See you at the park!

ABOUT PARKSIDE BREWERY

Parkside website -0722

The Parkside Brewery celebrates the social aspects of life and connecting with others and your community. Whether it be gathering with loved ones for a BBQ, playing that pickup game with friends, a game of shuffleboard in the basement or relaxing on a warm summer evening on a park bench or lawn chair.

At Parkside, It all starts with the beer we brew. We believe in making craft beers of all styles- from approachable to specialty- while only using the best ingredients. Our beers are a celebration of where we live- The Pacific Northwest.

The Parkside Brewery’s name is very literal. We are, in fact, located right beside a park. This gives the brewery an incredible sense of place, and a specific place at that. We are proud to be located in Port Moody across from Rocky Point park where we have deep roots. Our connection to this location and the community around it is so important to our identity. We also believe that Parkside represents the connection that our customers’s have to their communities as well- it could be any park, in any place, to anyone. The reason for that is the emotional connection that speaks to not only “our specific place”, but also to any park and gathering place, and all that is connected to that.
