The GOODS from 49th Parallel

Vancouver, BC | 49th Parallel Roasters is looking for a new Service Tech Assistant. You will be working directly with our Service Tech and will learn how to install, maintain and troubleshoot our warehouse and cafe equipment, such as our roasters, espresso machines, brewers and grinders. Experience is not necessary, and we will give you all the training and tools you need to succeed in the field. You must love coffee and have a great eye for detail. You need to be able to lift at least 50 lbs or more occasionally, and you must have a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Cafe equipment installs, troubleshooting and maintenance
– Roaster maintenance and repair
– Packaging/Shipping
– Warehouse equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
– Cleaning and organizing the shop/service vehicle.
– Maintaining and ordering a reasonable amount of parts in shop

This is a permanent, full time position, with typical hours of 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Some evening and weekend shifts may be necessary, depending on business needs. This position is based out of our office/roastery located in Burnaby, BC. Please email your resumes to info [at] 49thcoffee.com.
