Harvest Feastival At UBC To See Outdoor Feast, Lots Of Art, Live Music & More

The new season is coming on strong and that means all the Fall favourites are making their way to our plates. Head down to UBC Harvest Feastival this Thursday evening for an outdoor dinner celebrating autumn’s arrival and an abundance of art around campus. The six course menu consists of everything you’d want to kick off the season including a blackberry beet salad, a pumpkin penne, and a fire roasted peanut butter s’more. If that last item alone doesn’t tempt you to splurge on the reasonably priced tickets ($10-$35) then surely the post-dinner activities will. Wander around the many open galleries, listen to the open rehearsal for the UBC Symphony Orchestra as you let the feast settle, or burn off the calories by laughing at Harvest Improv, an hour-long show featuring professional improv actors and UBC alumni. Whether you go for the food, the entertainment or both, this event is the perfect way to kickstart Fall. See you there!

Hit East Van for the 2nd Annual Vancouver Brewers Fest, April 19-28th

Since a single person (and liver) can only handle so many beers and beer-drinking celebrations, some prioritizing is in order. Topping off our list of events is the imminent (and, in our opinion, non-negotiable) Vancouver Brewers Fest.
