The GOODS from Liquidity Wines

Okanagan Falls, BC | Liquidity Wines is proud to announce that its 2014 Pinot Noir Estate has been awarded a silver medal at the prestigious Mondial des Pinots international competition, which was announced in Sierre, Switzerland on September 2, 2016.

Mondial des Pinots is the only international competition entirely dedicated to celebrating excellent wines made from the Pinot family of grapes. Now in its 19th year, the 2016 competition received a record-breaking number of entries, with submissions up by 10% since 2015. Between August 7-9, 65 international judges tasted 1,347 Pinot-based wines, entered by 470 producers from 24 countries, as part of the opening celebrations for the VINEA Swiss Wine Fair.

Nestled in the heart of Okanagan Falls – overlooking a breathtaking view of Vaseaux Lake in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley – Liquidity has become a captivating destination for wine lovers and visitors alike. Winemaker Alison Moyes and the Liquidity team pride themselves on making handcrafted wines that express the individuality of the vineyard, variation of the season and varietal. With a unique tasting room, rare and exceptional art installations and a prominent bistro led by Executive Chef Simon Bouchard, Liquidity offers an exceptional guest experience.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized for our Pinot Noir at this global competition,” says Winemaker Alison Moyes. “It’s a truly special wine with fresh aromas of raspberry, cocoa, tobacco leaf and bergamot tea that entice the nose. This elegant medium-bodied wine shows bright acidity and smooth tannins, and features flavours of ripe dark berries, pomegranate, red currant jelly, baking spice and vanilla, with a long finish.”

The Liquidity 2014 Pinot Noir Estate is available in Liquidity’s tasting room and online while stocks last (priced at $26 plus tax). It is also available at assorted private wine shops and restaurants throughout the Okanagan and Lower Mainland.
