This Double ‘Wild-Style’ Currywurst At Chinatown’s Bestie

FullSizeRender-(1)

We’ve eaten at Bestie in Chinatown on many (oh so many) occasions, but our most recent pass saw us going off the rails a little by combining pork Thuringer and bison sausages over crispy fries for two. The lot was liberally lubricated “wild-style”, which is to say the usual “schranke-style” (curried ketchup, house mayo, green onions) amplified with a pungent three cheese sauce (the excess remnants of which were smeared over the crunchy gherkins that arrived on the side). The hot mess was a bit of a palate fisticuff, but that’s kind of the point. So if you’re having a bland day in Chinatown, this is where and how you dig in.
