The GOODS from THISOPENSPACE
Vancouver, BC | Vancouver writer and curator, Cole Nowicki, invites you to the 2nd annual Portraits of Brief Encounters exhibition and gallery game on October 22nd. Nowicki’s personal written vignettes have been paired with eleven Vancouver artists who have interpreted the written pieces into visual works. This is a showdown to best pair each written story to its corresponding work – a game of interpretive skill with a competitive edge. Participants are rewarded for correct guesses and top scorers will win! Price cap on works is $300. You could win up to a $55 discount based on correct guesses and you’ll get your very own pencil at the door. $5 upon entry. Come for beer, wine, good company and a little competition for great art.
