Merch From “The Oasis” Mini-Golf Experience At FIELD Contemporary

Mini golf as art. Walk into FIELD Contemporary and get on board with that idea. Inspired by curator Justine Gabias’ time as a youth during Quebec’s 90s mini-golf heyday, The Oasis is a unique mini-golf experience. Local visual artists Vanessa Brown, Steve Hubert and Allie Tweedie have each designed holes, and the public is encouraged to play.

And tucked into the back gallery is The Pro Shop, which is filled with mugs ($8) and t-shirts ($20), both adorning a smart Mark DeLong illustration. Take advantage of the package deal – a mug and a shirt for only $25 – but take note: the merch is a limited run, so make haste.

On Friday, August 21st, drop into The Oasis for happy hour from 5pm to 7pm. There will be salty snacks and cold beverages (by donation), and mini-golf a-plenty. Check out the FB page for more information. See you there.
