“The Start” By Wendy Dyk, At The Summer Burnouts Show In Chinatown

Summer is adventure season. And lucky for us that Untitled Art Space has found a way to bring the adventure to 434 Columbia St. with their new exhibition, Summer Burnouts. This analogue photography exhibition combines the talents of Matt Savage and Wendy Dyk in the spirit of badass bikes and camp vibes.

The Start, by Wendy Dyk, is the result of working with stop motion footage (which is conveniently playing kitty corner to where the piece is hung on the back wall). The footage was filmed in Pemberton at the Flat Track Races. Slightly underexposed, the images make for a beautiful, ethereal gateway to motorbike life.
