Sure there are nooks and a hideaway table or two, but nothing in our Macked-out cafe environment can hold a candle to the diminutive but highly functional and adorably modular Flipboard Cafe in Melbourne, Australia. Conceived by Martin Heide and Megg Evans of Brolly Design, the little cafe gives every customer the opportunity to choose their own adventure, from sitting on fold-down slats indoors to sneaking into sheltered cubbies outside. Everything revolves around a central staircase, but each micro-section is its very own space. Check it out:
