Burnaby, BC | Cioffi’s Meat Market & Deli located in trendy Burnaby Heights, is a family owned business dedicated to quality. Our customers are inspired by the plethora of culinary delights in our deli, meat market, and in-store open kitchen where we create mouth-watering take-away meals. Our culinary team shares a passion for fine food and delivering an exceptional customer experience and we are on the lookout for enthusiastic, energetic people to join us in several key positions.

We are looking for line cooks with good palates for a wide variety of meats, cheeses, and fine foods, and a personality to match! Daily personal interaction with our customers in an open kitchen environment requires exceptional people skills as well as a passion for food. Experience in-kitchen is preferred or have gone to culinary school, eager to learn and a knowledge of Italian cuisine is ideal. Daytime hours with ability to work weekends is a must.

A full-time Butcher is required for our meat market. 2-3 years’ experience or education equivalence is necessary. Primary duties include boning, trimming, cutting an amazing array of fresh meats of every kind, as well as custom cuts for retail and wholesale customers. House made sausages are standard fare in our meat market. Over-the-counter interaction with customers requires an exceptional customer service attitude.

Cioffi’s also has a need for a Wholesale Deli Attendant to serve customers, set up platters and showcases. Knowledge of Italian products is an asset & deli slicer experience is preferred. Experience working in a kitchen is required. 5 day work week, full time hours, ability to work weekends is required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

About Cioffi’s Meat Market, Deli, & Cucina

25 years ago, Cioffi’s Meat Market & Deli began as a small family business proudly supplying the Lower Mainland with specialty local and imported deli, meat and grocery products. Rino Cioffi and his father Antonio opened the single store in February of 1990 which has since grown to have 3 side-by-side locations and over 80 employees. It’s a big Italian famiglia now with his brother Sergio, his wife, Kristy, and his mother Lina all involved. Cioffi’s is passionate about good food, which is why our motto is ‘Eat Well, Live Well’.

Skillful butchers will hand-cut anything to order, including local, organic, grass-fed beef, organic and free-range chicken, all-natural pork, buffalo, veal, rabbit, duck, venison, elk, and more.
