The Intense Arroz con Pollo at The Sardine Can in Gastown

IMG_9115

We tried (and thoroughly enjoyed) a new dish at The Sardine Can in Gastown last night. The Arroz con Pollo is a rib-sticking, restorative sharable that sees chorizo sausage slices and slow cooked chicken soaking in an intensely flavoured tomato sauce flecked with olives and capers. The aromatic faux-ragout comes saddled with a delicious Valencian rice and costs $11. The two are best enjoyed mixed and with cold glasses of Alhambra.
