The GOODS from the Chefs’ Table Society of BC

Vancouver, BC | The Chefs’ Table Society of BC does it again; presenting the BC Hospitality Foundation Future Leaders scholarships. Fresh on the heels of sponsoring the life-changing grand prize of $10,000 to Michael Christiansen, the Hawksworth Young Chef scholarship winner, The Chefs’ Table Society of BC steps up again, and provides three BC Hospitality Foundation scholarships.

The Society facilitates the three $1500 Culinary Scholarships presented by the BC Hospitality Foundation. This year the winners are Brandi Gollan of the Northwest Culinary Academy, Dana Duckworth of Okanagan College, and Jason Gaun from Burnaby Ace-It Cooks Training.

Each winning culinary student receives both financial assistance for school and the opportunity to take part as a fully registered participant at the Connect British Columbia Hospitality Expo, which includes transportation, accommodation, access to the events, onsite meals, and an invitation to the ceremony where the scholarships are presented.

Supporting emerging chefs is a core activity of the CTS, as it helps to foster the next generation of culinary professionals. The Society is proud to be able to support the important programs of the BC Hospitality Foundation and help to develop future culinary leaders.
