Vancouver, BC | Enter the door into Wonderland this New Years Eve at The Keefer Bar in Chinatown. Be enchanted by the space and bedazzled by the cocktails. Let the Champagne bubbles tickle your tongue as you sip from the bottle of decadence. Step into the adventure unknown! Guests receive a cocktail upon arrival and Champagne at midnight with a performance by Sweet Soul Burlesque and sets by DJ Dubconscious & Peter Allgood in between. Regular tickets are $30 in advance ($40 at the door). VIP tickets are $45 and include a copy of Sweet Sip Charity 2014 Calendar ($15 will go to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre). The Keefer Bar is a place where you can come to escape the rush and unwind in a unique atmosphere where cocktails, food and music are in harmony. The intricately designed cocktail program focuses on Apothecary style drinks created to soothe ailments and balance one’s mood. Ingredients for the Asian influenced small plated food and specially crafted drinks are sourced from local Chinatown markets and herbalists. Bar Manager, Danielle Tatarin and Creative Director, Free Lee work with their team to develop the exceptional atmosphere and unique house made tinctures, bitters, syrups and teas to incorporate into the pre-prohibition influenced drinks.
