Why not make shopping easy as can be with a visit to Oyama Sausage Company on Granville Island? You can stock up on tasty treats while you enjoy the bustle of Granville Island. From party trays to gift baskets, Oyama can take care of even the most difficult person to shop for. We’re celebrating the St. Hubertus and Game Weekend from Friday Dec. 6th to Sunday Dec. 8th, and then offering up the last Boudin Noir and Morcilla of 2013 between Friday Dec. 13th and Sunday Dec. 16th. St. Hubertus and Game Weekend
Oyama celebrates the game season with the patron saint of the hunters. On offer this weekend will plenty of wonderful game products like Elk Sausage, Bison Sausage, Duck Sausage, Venison Sausage, Wild Boar Terrine, Wild Boar Headcheese, Venison Paté, Duck Patés, assorted game salamis, prosciuttos and more. In addition, check out the first Swedish Ham Tasting of the season from 9 AM until 1 PM on Friday the 6th and again at the same time on Saturday the 7th. Taste what your Christmas dinner could be like. Order your Swedish Ham right away while you are at it.

Load up on the last Boudin Noir for this year. Also, come again from 9 AM-1PM on Friday and Saturday for our second Swedish Ham tasting of the season. In case you missed it before, now will be the time to order your Swedish Ham for Christmas. The best ham on earth, so says many local consumers and critics alike.

Check out the Christmas list on the website for all the wonderful things coming in during Christmas and New Year’s week. Oyama is closed on December 25th and 26th and will be open from 8am-4pm on the 24th and 31st. All other days, the store is open Monday to Sunday, 8:30am-7pm. About Oyama Sausage Co.

We opened our store on Granville Island in the amazing Public Market in 2001, moving to Vancouver from the Okanagan, where we were in business for 15 years. The business is owned by John and Christine van der Lieck. John is a fifth generation master sausage maker from Europe who has worked all over the European continent and is a true master in the trade of artisanal charcuterie. Our background is German and Dutch. At varying times, we make over 400 products, from patés and terrines to salamis, to hams, prosciuttos and many other dry cured treats, to sausages (dozens of links – fresh and smoked), pork pies, sliders and snacks, taking inspiration from many different ethnic backgrounds. These products are handmade in our kitchen in Vancouver. Our wonderful products are made with Canadian inspected free range, organic or family farm raised meats (pork, beef, bison, duck, elk, chicken, turkey and more), with natural herbs and spices sourced from all over the world. We carefully source all our ingredients, only the best will do! You will find many of our products in many of Vancouver’s fine restaurants and eateries.
