About Bottega: Bottega was established in 1977 by Aldo Bottega; a master distiller with more than 30 years experience in this sector. After Aldo Bottega passed away in 1983, his son Sandro took over as president. Sandro runs the company alongside his sister Barbara and brother Stefano. They produce grappa, wine, sparkling wine and liqueur, distributing their products in more than 120 countries worldwide. The winery and distillery are located in a nineteenth-century farmhouse surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards in Bibano. Bottega also manages wineries in Valpolicella and Montalcino allowing them to directly control their production of Amarone and Brunello. In addition to great wines, Bottega is known for their innovative distillation method that makes grappa smoother and more delicate. They also started their own blown glass factory, Alexander – where artistic bottles are produced following ancient tradition. The Bottega staff includes 10 graduated winemakers who specialize in the production of sparkling wines and the distillation of grappa.
