Restaurant Trade To Compete In “Skills & Spills” Industry Games

BCHFGames-Postcard-4

Scout is a proud sponsor of the BC Hospitality Foundation’s upcoming Skills & Spills, a Vancouver restaurant industry showdown that’s being put together for a great cause. Click here for everything that you need to know, but the basic skinny is this: you register a team of 6-8 people who will represent your restaurant, raise some coin for your industry brethren in need, and compete your asses off at the Hellenic Cultural Centre on October 20th. Events include the Coat Check Challenge, the Crack Off, the Perfect Pour, the Hospitality Grind, the Team Apron Dash, and the Haywire Legged Race (in which a waiter and a bartender’s legs are tied together before they navigate a course of wine bottles, cases, barrels and crates). It sounds like a lot of fun, so get a crew together, sign up today, and help to spread the word!
