  1. So are you saying you just figured out the Gastown thing? That’s been public knowledge for a while: a bit more than 40 years, actually.

  2. Uh, no, I did walking tours about it. It is just another visual reminder of the larger narrative that I have been espousing that the gentrification of Gastown (40 years ago) was also its saviour a bizarre paradox that needs to be considered in light of recent restaurant protests in the area.
