The GOODS from The Acorn

Vancouver, BC | Please join us on Friday, September 6 after 10pm to celebrate the third installment of the Acorn Artist Series. This month features the work of Vancouver-based artist Karin Bubaš. Bubaš has contributed a watercolour from a developing series of portraits of the late actor and animal rights activist River Phoenix. We’ve long been a fan and admirer of Karin Bubaš’ stunning photography and her more recent explorations into drawing and watercolour. When we found out about her series depicting River Phoenix, a staunch vegetarian, we thought it must be a match made in heaven.

The Acorn Artist Series is a small and simple way of using the restaurant to incorporate and proliferate some of the artwork that inspires us in our daily lives. As much as we love to share the excitement and pleasure of dining over deliciously creative food, we also love sharing some of the other things in life that warm not only our bellies but our hearts and souls.
