We are in the midst of putting together our summer guide to the Okanagan. We have a lot of our favourite stuff lined up and this past week we put the call out to Okanagan members of the Scout Community for details as to what they have planned for July and August, too. We’d also like to hear from our readers and any local businesses and organisations from Osoyoos and Cawston to Kelowna and Vernon (and all the great places in between) that might also have some good fun up their sleeves. Email the dates and details of your choice happenings to mitsumi [at] scoutmagazine.ca and we’ll see what we can do about including them in our guide. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, July 3rd.

  1. I’ll be heading to Naramata Centre this summer to take part in some fabulous festivals. The summer outdoor concert on July 27th looks great.

  2. Check out the Culinary Winemaker Dinner Series, “Thirst for Thursdays” at Serenata Guesthouse located on the beautiful Naramata Bench. These outdoor long table 5 course dinners are prepared by Executive Chef Roger Planiden ( http://www.culinaryadventure.ca ) and feature wine pairing by the fabulous winemakers of the Naramata Bench Wineries. See our website for details on this culinary adventure (www.serenataguesthouse.com). Limited seating
