(via) This map of the USA was made from thousands of wooden matches by artist Claire Fontaine at the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art. She went on to repeat the artwork at a gallery in San Francisco this week, only this time she lit it on fire with a blowtorch. Because art. Whoosh.
