Vancouver, BC | Red Truck Limited Brown Porter (4.5%)- is a more sessionable version of a darker English Porter. Similar in flavour to robust North American brown ales with nice red highlights, more body and more flavour. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and tea leaf providing a touch of fruitiness and caramel sweetness. Excellent pairings: cured meats and cheeses, anything salty or smoked. Burgers and steaks and comfort foods, not to mention desserts. This is our interpretation of the less known styles of session porters. It’s a pretty awesome tasting beer! It’s the small running back; it’s the rookie shortstop; it’s the grinder playing the third line. It’s impossible not to love this beer. Look for it at Wildebeest, The Alibi Room, St Augustine’s, Calabash Bistro, Boneta, The Hop and Vine, Central Bistro and The pumphouse in Richmond and perhaps at the Sunset Grill in Kits.
