HONOUR BOUND: Go To Town On Sausages In A Laneway Off Main Street This Saturday

There was considerable interest from readers after we posted a few shots of the Livable Laneways event that went down last weekend to our Instagram feed. Well, you’ll be happy to know that it’s on again this Saturday, August 4th from 5pm until 9pm in the laneway between Broadway and East 8th off Main Street. There will be lots of fresh food and craft market stalls to browse and shop, but this time there will be a major sausage cook off as well. Attendees get to eat and vote on specially crafted sausages made by local Mount Pleasant restaurants like The Cascade Room, Hyde, and The Rumpus Room, with proceeds from our $3 donations going to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Get the full skinny here. Shots from last weekend below.
