Scout contributors Sam Philips and Lisa Giroday (of Victory Gardens fame) have teamed up with Jessica Wadsworth to create the Mount Pleasant Victory Market. The event runs in conjunction with the Livable Laneways Night Markets and features the hard work of urban producers, growers and wares from a whole lot of small local businesses. For their second evening (tonight, July 28, 5-10pm), they are very excited to have SOLEfood, Yummy Yards, Barefoot Farms, Backyard Buzz, Olla Flowers, Sugo Sauce, Patch and Victory Gardens all on board. If you can’t make it tonight, don’t fret. The next MPVM goes down August 4th from 5-10pm in the laneway west of Main between 8th and Broadway.
