Vancouver, BC | We’ve all been reading and hearing about how hard it is to meet people in Vancouver. How people never smile or say hello. How they don’t even know their neighbour down the hall. Well, Red Card is out to change all that in an outreach to all of its neighbours. In a promotion called – heh – “When’s the last time your neighbour bought you a drink?” – Red Card is launching Neighbours Night every Thursday through August and September. Sponsored by Jagermeister, Driftwood Brewery, Cointreau, Stanley Park Brewery, Mount Gay Rum, Spicebox, Beefeater, and Olmeca Tequila, it all gets started next Thursday, August 2 with Jagermeister.

“We live amidst a sea of concrete towers – hundreds of people are all around us and we want to get to know them. Obviously a lot of us have the same interests since we have chosen to live downtown and embrace the urban lifestyle,” Red Card General Manager Curtis Budnarchuk says. “Our staff are fully engaged in this and will be introducing themselves to guests as well as introducing guests to each other.”

Board games, free one month passes to the Steve Nash gym and additional giveaways will round out what is sure to be a great night for the community.
