The GOODS from The Waldorf Hotel

Vancouver, BC | Join us on Sunday, July 1 for free and family-friendly event. Our first annual Canada Day Block Party will feature food from Vancouver’s top food carts and live music programmed by After Dinner Mint’s Joy Mullen. The event will take place outdoors in the Waldorf’s Parking Lot. Vancouver’s top food carts will be on hand to roll out their summer menus for their largest gathering ever. This event is being produced in conjunction with the Street Food Vancouver Society. Participating food carts so far include La Brasserie, Soho Road, Tacofino, Off the Wagon, Re-Up, Juice Truck, Mom’s Grilled Cheese, Didi’s Greek, Street Meet and more to be announced.

The music portion of the event will be programmed by Joy Mullen, who organizes a weekly evening of live music and dancing at the Waldorf called After Dinner Mint. The entertainment will be diverse and features acts like Cris Derkson (Cree Nation electric Celloist), The Ballantynes (60s Soul and Rock n Roll), Bella Monde (Reggae), Myriam Parent (French Ukele), the Radii (60s Soul) and more.

This event will also mark the launch of The Waldorf Hotel’s outdoor summer space, which includes a beer garden and a Fish Taco stand featuring a menu designed by the NUBA and Waldorf executive chef Cesar De la Parra.
