Vancouver, BC| Join 500 foodies and wine lovers in support of the Vancouver Aquarium’s conservation, education and research efforts at Toast to the Coast 2011 on Friday November 4, 2011 from 7:30pm – 11:00pm. Toast to the Coast transforms the Aquarium into a stylishly exotic after-hours experience with 100% of the evening’s proceeds going to support the Aquarium’s commitment to effecting the conservation of aquatic life and waterways. Guest will enjoy canapés from leading Ocean Wise restaurants, sample the best local wines, jive to live music from DJ Leanne and leave with finds from the silent auction and fashion showcase. Participating Restaurants Include: Nu, the Granville Room, Provence Mediterranean Grill, Tableau Bar Bistro, the Oakwood Canadian Bistro, and the Sonora Room at Burrowing Owl. Leading BC wineries include: Blasted Church, Tinhorn Creek, Township 7, Poplar Grove, Burrowing Owl, and Desert Hills.
