This individual must possess strong character and charm and always leave a lasting impression on customers. Must have strong wine knowledge of old worlds and BC wines. QUALIFICATIONS

• WSET Certification
• A minimum of two years experience as a Sommelier
• Fluent  in English language skills; both written and verbal
• Impeccable grooming and presentation
• Clear, precise, professional and helpful telephone manner
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and decision making abilities
• Demonstrated a high level of responsibility and commitment
• Demonstrated teamplayer with proven success in relationship building
• The ability to be equally effective working in self-management projects as well as working as a member of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests’ expectations
• Comprehensive and current knowledge of local attractions, events, restaurants and transportation information
• Excellent knowledge of wines
• “Serving It Right” certificate
• Must be bondable
• Working knowledge of Micros or similar POS system
