by Andrew Morrison | A new, Eastern European-themed sports bar named “Sorry Babushka” should open before the month is out in the old Me & Julio location at 2095 Commercial Drive. They aim to show plenty of soccer and hockey, and not a little live music and comedy on their new stage. Seating numbers remain similar to how it was before, with 90 in and 44 out. For food and drink, expect pitchers of Caesars, Carlsberg lager (and swag), cabbage rolls, perogies, et cetera. One of the owners is behind Cafe Zen and The Marquis. The other owned a Russian-themed joint in Israel. Mazel tov.
