GOODS: “Savoury Chef” Pairs With Granville Island Brewing During Craft Beer Week

Vancouver, BC | Granville Island Brewing Brewmaster, Vern Lambourne has teamed up with Savoury Chef Foods Owner, Chef Taryn Wa to present a West Coast inspired Brewmasters Dinner featuring cuisine paired with Granville Island Brewing favourites on May 11, to celebrate Vancouver Craft Beer Week.
Hosted at the GIB Taproom right in the heart of Granville Island, Savoury Chef Foods has prepared a four-course menu, featuring local meats, fresh ingredients and specially designed recipes to bring out the unique characteristics of each of the four beers selected for pairing by Brewmaster Vern. The Five Spice Duck Main Course is accented by the strong hop flavour of the award-winning Brockton IPA (India Pale Ale).
This delicious pairing is presented in part by 100.5 The Peak and is sure to be a memorable highlight of this year’s Vancouver Craft Beer Week. Tickets for the event are very limited and can be purchased through the Vancouver Craft Beer Week website. Menu details after the jump…
