Today it is anticipated that up to a million or more Egyptians will take to Cairo’s Tahrir Square to hasten the end of Hosni Mubarak’s 30 year presidency. It sounds like it’ll be fun and momentous. The authorities have shut down the trains into the city to limit the number of marchers, so the people have been coming in on foot instead. They’ve also shut down the internet, but it’s way too late for that. The jig is up. Said one sudden revolutionary:
Fuck the internet! I have not seen it since Thursday and I am not missing it. I don’t need it. No one in Tahrir Square needs it. No one in Suez needs it or in Alex…Go tell Mubarak that the peoples revolution does not need his damn internet!
Pwned! Just for that, and to show you that the internet (and Hollywood) has your back, we give you the greatest pep talk of all time (via TDW). Good luck with your revolution. Total slow cap.
