Foreign Intelligence Brief #349: Euro Soccer Dads Are Terrifying

  1. I doubt they are all dads. They are probably some sort of club members there to support the players. Obviously part of a long tradition. Mini soccer is sanctioned by FIFA and there sre stricter controls on parents and fans then in any other youth sport.

It seems a lot more positive then what we see in Canada. The parents drop the kids off and think of sports as a low paid day care. As the players get older the numbers of supprters on the sidelines shrink drastically in the Vancouver area. These people seem a little OZ but I respect the effort.
