Vancouver, BC | Adesso Bistro has perfected the recipe for cozy dining. From now through December 30, the West End eatery will feature an ever-changing three-course prix-fixe menu – available Sunday through Thursday – showcasing a trio of richly satisfying dishes which guests can enjoy in the restaurant’s warm and intimate dining room. As Adesso specializes in cuisine from Italy’s lauded Liguria region, guests can expect to find delicious Northern Italian-inspired creations on the menu, cooked to perfection and served with aplomb. From surf n’ turf starters to hearty main attractions like Queen Charlotte sablefish and braised pork ribs, the dishes are complemented by tasty accompaniments, such as Porcini broth, creamy polenta and warm potato salad. Dessert selections – from orange and mascarpone trifle to coffee semifreddo with walnut chocolate brownies – are sure to put a sweet spin on the evening. Details after the jump…

The menu – available for $28 or $42 with optional wine pairings – is on offer Sunday through Thursday, 5 to 10 pm.

A Ligurian-concept restaurant owned by Carol Gadsby and Luciano Loi, Adesso Bistro is now open in its new space at 1906 Haro Street. While the menu showcases traditional cuisine from Italy’s Liguria region, Adesso Bistro’s culinary philosophy focuses on food made with love, tradition and soul – utilizing healthy, local and organic ingredients bursting with natural flavours. Formerly located in Kitsilano, the restaurant relocated to Vancouver’s vibrant and scenic West End neighbourhood in May 2010. Adesso Bistro is open daily from 5 pm, seven days a week.
