The building that houses the 60 year old Ted Harris Paint Store at 757 East Hastings is up for lease. I’ve always liked the frontage at this address, but I especially love the sign. Mark Brand and Sean Heather are busy with other projects, and I see Ernesto Gomez has his hands full at The Waldorf. So who’s turn is it?
Proviso: you have to call whatever business you put in there “PAINT”. Seriously, if you touch that old sign you will be damned forever…

best sign ever. i agree, whoever gets this property, they MUST name it PAINT! (or Ted Harris10% to 50 % off Cafe)
The space includes 2 floors of commercial (+ basement), 2 or 3 apartments on the top floor and I think they’d like to inlcude the parking lot behind them, across the lane.
Bob Harris said he tried to get the Museum of Vancouver to take the sign but they didn’t want to. Sadness if the next guy in there doesn’t see the value of it.
