Another Terribly Hard Round Of Name That Blurry Restaurant

nice-try-sneaky-bugger

We’ve just come back from a week of given’r in the Okanagan and are now about to pass out before taking the Westy for an extra week’s worth of whirl in Tofino. That means our crazy restaurant scene readers that can identify an establishment based on the type of floor polish used are in for a genuine treat. Guess this one, and its lifelong glory. I will chime in when a particularly amazing reader gets it and sharing Field Trip photo notes from the road via super phone. Adieu and good luck.

    Waitress wearing Uggs?

I’ll take “What is a Restaurant I’ll never set foot in for $1,000, Alex.”

well if the chick is wearing uggs over tight jeans then its definitely suburbs. I’d say Boston Pizza in Coquitlam.

Ouch. I’ve never been to a Boston Pizza.

    The Narrow?

The flooring suggests The Diamond. The Uggs are definitely a curve ball.

You, sir, are a blessed man. I had the misfortune of working for a man whose brother-in-law was CEO or CFO or some other senior management position at Boston Pizza. Consequently every time he took us out for lunch…Boston Pizza.

I’m not sure he ever figured out why I stopped saying yes when he invited me for lunch.

Of course dude lived in Maple Ridge, where BP is considered high end dining and Cactus Club the pinnacle of fine cuisine. (I can, in a pinch, handle a Cactus Club visit but there are only a few things I order there..)

    UGH…..uggs?

    when was this taken? 1994?

  15. Scout Magazine on August 29th, 2010 9:22 pm

Take the uggs out of the equation and guess the dang restaurant already.

  16. Jonathan Ross on August 29th, 2010 9:58 pm

I guess I’ll take the blame for the Uggs. In fairness, they’re effin’ Pink.

Could be a Coppertank, but I’d never admit to having been in the place. (I think I was…once…)

Still no luck. The answer is…The Naam.

  23. Sasha on September 1st, 2010 4:58 pm

The Naam? Then you should’ve left the Uggs in the equation.

    Never heard of it.
