Vancouver, BC | Cibo Trattoria will host an exclusive wine and producers dinner that celebrates the very best of BC food and wine. On Sunday September 5th, guests will enjoy a delectable menu crafted by Cibo’s talented Executive Chef Neil Taylor. Each dish in the five-course menu will feature organic produce from Sapo Bravo Farm, paired perfectly with the award winning wines of Poplar Grove winery. Poplar Grove Winemaker and guest speaker Ian Sutherland will delight guests as he introduces each wine pairing, and Gabriel Fernandez and Katie Brown from Sapo Bravo farms will share some of their unique farm practices.

Poplar Grove Winery is a boutique winery located on the slopes of the Naramata Bench that was founded in 1993. Winemaker Ian Sutherland was inspired by the Naramata Bench’s ability to produce exceptional fruit and dedicated the entire eight-acre property to premium grape production. Poplar Grove is the quintessential family owned winery focusing on making top-notch wines from estate grown fruit.

Located in Lytton, BC, the center of one of the most diverse farming areas in the province, Sapo Bravo Farm has proven to employ true sustainable practices through their leading organic farming methods. Sapo Bravo Farm is 100% certified organic and produces what many of Vancouver’s leading chef’s believe to be the best local produce. Spirited growers Gabriel Fernandez and Katie Brown are tireless in their commitment to providing beautiful organic produce, including 50 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, onions, basil, peaches, plums and apricots.

This celebration of local harvest will take place on Sunday September 5th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $80 including tax and gratuity, and available by e-mail (Edward Perrow at [email protected]), or by calling Cibo Trattoria directly at 604-602-9570.
