Yet Another Super Extra Tricky Game Of Guess That Restaurant

A sharp-eyed reader named “Kevin” got the answer to the first picture presented in this post (a wall detail shot in Everything Cafe) just a few minutes after we posted it. I’ve therefore put up another, which I think might prove a little bit more of a challenge.   10. I sat at that counter many times with the chef Shori, so I knows that counter by heart ! Missed the Japanese food from Vancouver !

  11. From what I hear (and have observed), Kakurenbo has been closed for about 2 months. The ownership group had a falling out, staff weren’t paid (and walked out) and one of the owners is quite ill. Too bad. They had brought on a couple of guys on from Guu who wanted to raise their game and thought Kakurenbo would provide them a venue to do so (they were making great strides). In the end, they were left in a situation where they couldn’t continue. As far as I know, it still sits papered up with an “under renovations” sign in the window.
