Vancouver, BC | In 2009, after only five months of operation, newcomer Miku Restaurant, rocked Vancouver’s restaurant industry by scooping Bronze at the city’s annual Restaurant Awards. Little over a year later, its success is cemented as the innovative eatery steps up to silver in the Best Formal Japanese category, at the 21st Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards.

Vancouver Magazine judges compliment “high-style” Miku Restaurant on its “myriad takes on spot prawns”. Blending traditional techniques with eclectic flair and regional ingredients, Miku’s sushi chef team are highly trained individuals, specially selected from umbrella company Tora Corporation’s Japanese-based kitchens. With effortless style and personality, the chef team delights in creating Omakase masterpieces with inspired creativity and seasonal ingredients.
