News from Scout supporter Cru Restaurant
Vancouver, BC | Vancouver’s CRU Restaurant is renowned for using fresh local ingredients in its award-winning food, but the restaurant’s commitment to homegrown excellence doesn’t end there. On Sunday, May 16 2010, CRU will host a dinner celebrating the beers made by the Whistler Brewing Company. Guests will enjoy a five-course dinner menu paired with craft beers for $70.
Established in 1989, the BC-owned Whistler Brewing Company has earned a reputation for producing top-quality ales and lagers. The dinner at CRU will be hosted by Whistler Brewing Company’s President, Bruce Dean. Guests will be introduced to the brewery’s full range of all-natural beers, from the light citrus flavours of summer Weissbier to rich and velvety Black Tusk Ale. Executive Chef Alana Peckham has designed a special menu for the evening that will show the beers to their best advantage.
The Whistler Brewing Dinner at CRU is a Vancouver Craft Beer Week event.
