Vancouver, BC | C Restaurant was selected by Vail Resorts as the location to celebrate U.S. athlete Lindsey Vonn and her Olympic achievements. On Saturday, February 27, 2010, C hosted one of the most exciting and anticipated parties of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Vonn, who became the first American woman to win an Olympic Gold medal in the Downhill, was joined at C Restaurant by notable media attendees such as: NBC Nightly News, Sports Illustrated and The Today Show. Guests at the event celebrated by sipping on gold flake champagne and nibbling on delectable treats such as: salmon caviar, freshly shucked oysters and gold leaf macaroons.

“We were thrilled to take part in the celebration,” said owner Harry Kambolis. “We hosted many Olympians, dignitaries and celebrities at C during the Winter Games. Playing host to both Vail and Lindsey was quite an honour.”
