Haitian Earthquake: Give Online To The Canadian Red Cross

I’ve been reading the Haitian “quake-wire” over at TPM. It’s just mind-numbingly awful. I’m not a praying man, but I’m a little jealous of those who can enjoy the measure of solace that must come with it. There’s just too much misery to digest. Once again, for those who would like to donate financial aid to the people of Haiti, the Canadian Red Cross has made it very easy for you on their website (select “Haiti Earthquake” in the designation line). You can even use their Interac system.

PS. If you are worried after loved ones or friends who are as yet unaccounted for, you can contact the Canadians Foreign Affairs emergency operations centre at 1-800-387-3124.

  1. Scout,

Get out of the way an let people get directly to the Canadian Red Cross so they can donate to the Haiti disaster relief.

  2. Andrew, I saw Scout is the lead in the Google news results when you type in “Canadian Red Cross”. I don’t think Mr. Ogilvie understands how the search engine works.

  3. Ogilvie, how exactly does a plea to Scout readers to donate to the CRC getting in the way?
