The Tasting Room: Possibly The Very Best Pinot Noir In Canada…

erht

by Terry David Mulligan | We start with a two part visit to the cellars of Foxtrot a legendary Naramata Bench winery that to this day cannot be found without some real digging for info…which is exactly what we do. If they truly make the best Pinot Noir in Canada, why can’t anyone find them or their wines?

New World Wine – everyone seems to have an opinion about them. TTR decided to go to two of the best talents in the new world, Stuart Bourne from Barossa and Mark de Vere from Mondavi in California. Also, the Wine Diva looks back at 2009.

Hour Two kicks off with a lively discussion about 2009 in the Okanagan with Howard Soon, Sandra Oldfield and Ian Sutherland from Sandhill, Tinhorn Creek and Poplar Grove respectively.

A return visit of Masa Shiroki, Master Sake Maker on Vancouver’s Granville Island. We visit Bruce Dean from Whistler Brewing.

And we finish off with a visit to some of the wineries on Bottleneck Drive outside Summerland BC.
