News from Scout supporters Mis Trucos and La Brasserie
This Saturday, September 12, Davie Street will be closed off from Burrard to Broughton for Davie Day – an afternoon of music, entertainment, exhibits and great food! To celebrate Davie Day in style, two of Davie Street’s most popular restaurants will run special hours during the celebration.
La Brasserie
La Brasserie (1091 Davie St.) will open from 10 am to 3 pm for brunch. Davie Day attendees can start their day with French-inspired brunch classics like Croque Madame, Oeufs en Meurette and Pain Perdu, and raise a glass of bubbly to toast the day (because bottles of champagne are always just cost plus $20 at La Brasserie).
Mis Trucos
Mis Trucos (1141 Davie St.) will open at noon with a patio party and barbecue on the back deck. There will be live DJs, tapas and roast pork sandwiches, $15 pitchers of Sangria and plenty of ice-cold Alhambra beer.
Both restaurants will be open for their regular dinner service at 5 pm.
Davie Day will run from 11 am to 8 pm, and more information is available at www.davieday.com.
