Vancouver, July 13, 2009—Raincity Grill, located in the heart of English Bay, announces an exclusive menu available during HSBC’s Celebration of Light. Beginning July 22, 2009, this limited-edition menu is available a la carte before 8:30 p.m. or prix fixe for the second seating ($65 indoors or $95 patio).

According to owner Harry Kambolis, “Raincity has the best location in the city as we are just steps away from the beach.”

The fireworks menu offers a range of local, organic dishes varying from seafood, game, poultry and vegetables. Highlights include ‘North Arm Farms’ beetroot salad (Agassiz hazelnut, fromage fraise cannelloni), Skeena River hawkshaw salmon (roasted North Arm Farm carrots, carrot crème fraiche puree, pickled cucumber, miso sabayon), Fraser Canyon rabbit (braised leg, butter poached loin, North Arm Farm thumbelina carrot, grilled onion, tarragon, port wine jus) and Agassiz hazelnut & chocolate tart (honey hazelnut ice cream, candied hazelnut, frozen chocolate ganache, hazelnut powder).

“We have an outstanding menu that is local, sustainable and uniquely Vancouver served up against a backdrop of an international fireworks celebration. I’m absolutely certain our guests will have an unforgettable night,” says Kambolis.
