Can't Bon Appetit do better than review Granville Island? The excessive focus on local food had this underlying skepticism that it could actually taste good. The smug tone and dismissal of Vancouver's local food love (and urban planning) was insulting overall. It's obvious the writer has no respect or interest in the place he visited.

I thought it was lazy writing with really obvious restaurant choices.
